FAQs

How long are walks?

Walks are one hour long but The Panting Pooch reserves the right to shorten walks to 45 minutes to accommodate for unforeseen delays due to weather or other circumstances. The Panting Pooch uses GPS walk tracking so you will always be notified of the length of your pooch's walk.

How many dogs do you walk at once?

The Panting Pooch adheres to the City of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Recreation Area's laws and restrictions for commercial dog walkers. Most walks will be a group of 6 dogs but groups may include up to 8 dogs on occasion. The Panting Pooch will never walk more than 8 dogs per walker.

What time will my pooch be walked?

Your pooch will be assigned to a two hour walk time window. On most days your pooch's walk will occur at the same default time. On some occasions your pooch's walk may begin an hour before or after their regular default time. On rare occasions your pooch's walk will begin up to 2 hours before or after their default walk time. You will be notified the evening before if your pooch's walk time has been adjusted. You can always view your pooch's scheduled walk time through our online scheduling system and phone app.

What is the enrollment process?
